Now thats thinking with portals.

I got to importing our multiplayer map into my single player game. Just one of the many benefits to running a server with an iron fist. I had some interesting adventures and I grabbed a few screens I think you guys might be interested in.

Here are both portals on screen, the left being the GFSC and the right being overrun castle.

Lets try the science center portal.

Make it to the surface and Im in between Kalt's floating island and mini mount doom.

Servers Been Halloween Updated

The Halloween update is up on the server. Portals don't work for now. You can check many of the new fun features out on the server, like new stuff to craft, as well explore our new biomed regions.

Bad chunk! Thats a very bad chunk!

I did some searching on the forums, and found a solution to the "area crashes" we experiance. In some areas in the map your game will crash, this is due to a bad piece of information in the area. I cant really get the bad info and delete it, since I don't know how to pinpoint exactly where it is. I would have to delete entire areas of your hard work to eliminate the bad info.
For now some forum searching has lead me to a tested an true solution. Turning down your view distance to normal makes the game not crash in bad areas.
Oh and minecraft updated to the halloween update.

A string of bad luck

I was able to recover XR-377's house from a massive glitch. Which is pretty good news.
Now the bad news, no map this week. I cant seem to get any map programs to render our map. So until I can find a solution we will have to use the old one.
This Sunday is the big update, so lets build some gates while we wait for it to come up. Monster proof your stuff too, because if he fixes monsters, I will be adding them in.

Well gents I'm going to try some different stuff out, let me know what you think. Also I'm late on the new map, but its been a slow few weeks, so it will be up tomorrow if all goes well.
